Tuesday mornings 10:00 am -12:00pm.
Developed by one of our Audiologists Alaina Hillier and taught by our Communicative Disorders Assistant Emily Keenan. This informative course runs every Tuesday for 6 weeks from 10 am-12-pm. Each participant will receive the opportunity to interact, discuss and learn from other hearing aid users and their spouses. We will discuss hearing aids, caring for your hearing aids, communication strategies to aid you when using your hearing aids and when without them, as well as introduce speech reading strategies. You are given the opportunity to learn about your hearing loss and how to improve your communication abilities. This course is open to everyone, including those who do not currently wear hearing aids, and those living with a family member currently wearing hearing aids. The best part of it all is that it is free!
